“ Being Indian I'm very exacting on Indian food quality. This is the second most impressive Indian restaurant I've ever eaten at. The food is so authentic, and the people genuine. Decor needs a refresh, but don't let that put you off. The food more than makes up for it. I recommend you try the sarson saag and lecha parontha. Actually just order everything - you won't regret. For context my favourite Indian restaurant in the world is Cassia in Auckland. ”

“ Northern indian cuisines! This is by far the Indian restaurant that i had most frequented. Very comfy dining space as you literally enter into a dim light air conditioned area from the hot sun. I always go for their briyani sets here, with rm12.90 you get a big platter of mutton briyani, with so much side dishes, what's not to like about that? They serve different kinds of lassi here. So if you like lassis, go ahead and order! Another drink i will recommend is their punjabi tea. Made with fresh cow milk, the spices in it will make you feel oh so good. Seriously, so far this is the taste that i have not found elsewhere yet, and the sweetness too is just right. With the price set, this place is usually crowded during lunch hours and could get a bit noisy. So don't come too late if you don't want to wait for too long! ”

“ If the Indian cuisines you've tried had only been the banana leaf rice, then you missing out on a lot of delicacies. Tasty Chapathi serves some delish North Indian cuisines such as chapathi, naans, tandoori dishes, vegetarian dishes and many more. I've been there a couple of times, and the food always arrived perfect. The restaurant is located in Viva Mall at Jalan Ipoh, facing the inner side of the main road. The Butter Chicken would have to be one of my favourite. The meat was tender, and the gravy was so creamy and flavourful. I'd always order some chapathi to go with their butter chicken. If you like cheese, then you really should try the Palak Paneer - pureed spinach cooked in curry gravy with cottage cheese. It's another cheesy, creamy goodness. One other thing that I like to order off their menu was the Masala Tea. The hot tea would be served with mixtures of the aromatic Indian spices and herbs. It's perfect especially during a cold rainy day. During my last visit to the restaurant, I ordered Gulab Jamun to try out. It's not easy to find decent ones, but I kind of like the Gulab Jamun served in Tasty Chapathi. The milk-solid based dessert was served warm and generously drizzled with syrup. It was an absolutely perfect way to end the meal. ”
